"Pray. Grow holy. Collect funds. Alas! Why must one always, when planning the works of God, put this vile question of money on par with spiritual means? It is because, in truth, without it, one can do nothing."
St. Madeleine Sophie Barat

Welcome to Development and Institutional Advancement at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart.

From the founding of the Society of the Sacred Heart St. Madeleine Sophie Barat relied on the generosity, graciousness and support of people who shared her conviction that an education rooted in faith and intellectual life is of essential value. Founded in 1961, Carrollton has relied on the generous support of our parents, alumnae, faculty, staff, board of trustees and friends to support the school programs not covered by tuition income. The Sacred Heart education is unique in its development of the child as a whole with concern for each student’s spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical growth. Carrollton depends on donations through various initiatives held throughout the school year which help in continuing our mission and allows individuals to give their time, treasure, and talent.

We invite you to join the many supporters who have assisted us in our mission to educate courageous, confident, and compassionate women of the Sacred Heart. For more information please browse through the sections listed on the right-hand panel of this page.

Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic all girls pre-kindergarten through grade 12 college preparatory day school. We develop confident young women who are responsible, creative and compassionate by encouraging them to become risk-takers, to seek challenges and to develop leadership. We are committed to excellence in education and believe that only a total education inclusive of spiritual, intellectual, emotional and physical challenge can be called excellent.

Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools; Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Florida Kindergarten Council and Florida Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. Carrollton is a member of the National Coalition of Girls’ Schools.
