Carrollton’s 48th Anniversary weekend began with Friday evening’s Celebrate 2010 event. The Carrollton community gathered for a night of fresh seafood paella, sangria, music and dancing. Carrollton parent, Carlos Vives provided the music accompanied by an incredible group of talented musicians. Co-chairs Jeanie and Gus Vidaurreta, Daniel Graeff and Renee Frigo Graeff and Rafael Sosa along with parents, faculty and staff volunteers were instrumental in ensuring the success of the evening through their contagious enthusiasm and hard work. The generous support of sponsors, underwriters and advertisers significantly contributed to the success of the evening. Proceeds from the event will be used for need-based scholarships, the General Building Fund and the Carrollton Haiti Project.
