Cyclones Win Big on Senior Day

On March 4th, the Varsity Softball team honored their seniors with a pre-game ceremony before facing the St. Brendan Sabres. Our seniors, along with the rest of the team, treated the fans to an amazing 11-2 victory. Daniela Calderon started the game off with a homerun which lead to an 8 run 1st inning. Daniela went 4-5 at the plate with 4 RBI's. Andrea Rabassa made two inning ending plays to keep the Sabres from rallying. Sofia Thompson laid down a perfect SAC bunt to advance runners into scoring position. Marie McGrath was 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI's, and she made a dramatic catch to end the game on a hard hit line drive stopping a 7th inning rally by St. Brendan. The Cyclones are on a 3 game winning streak.
