Quintessence Campaign

In the alchemy of medieval philosophy the forces that powered the known universe were said to be the elements of earth, air, fire and water. The fifth element, or quintessence, was the substance all heavenly bodies were believed to be composed of by virtue of their pure essence. This perfect embodiment was said to permeate all things.



The Quintessence Campaign for Carrollton, launched in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the founding of the school in 1961, seeks to ensure the viability of Sacred Heart education in Miami long into the future. The campaign's success will enhance the essence of Carrollton by securing the funding to complete the Wellness Center and Convocation Center as well as to build the school's endowment and cash reserves necessary to fund excellence.
