Library

The Carrollton library and research program promotes an atmosphere of inquiry, critical thinking, and personal and aesthetic growth - in support of a commitment and respect for intellectual values – and with a belief and eagerness to instill in our students a pure love of reading through creativity and enthusiasm.

Pursuing these values and to enhance information literacy and skills, a full range of resources, tools, and individual and group classes are available to all. This program strives to ensure that students, faculty, and staff effectively use these skills to draw conclusions, make informed decisions, and share their knowledge and understanding with others as active, ethical, and informed participants in our society.

These objectives are met by accessing information in all formats, including the books on the shelves, electronic databases, the Internet, and multimedia resources. Throughout, instruction and guidance - integration of innovative uses of technology are utilized to pursue these objectives, and always, the love of reading - for intellectual curiosity, is fostered.
