Sister Margaret T. Seitz, RSCJ
R.I.S.E. Program
Founded on the mission of Saint Madeleine Sophie Barat’s imperative for educational excellence, the R.I.S.E. Program is committed to the growth and success of its students, prioritizing Readiness, Inclusion, Self-Advocacy, and Engagement. The program aims to cultivate an educational environment where every child is equipped with the readiness to embrace their unique learning journey. With an emphasis on the whole child, students are supported so that they may thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
The program is named in honor of Sister Margaret T. Seitz, RSCJ, who served as Carrollton's Associate Head for Curriculum from 1999 to 2015. Known for her vibrant enthusiasm for life, education, and innovative leadership, Sister Seitz inspired and challenged others to reach their full potential, engaging them with her humor and passion for learning. She embodied a transformative spirit, promoting change and embracing new ideas. Today, her legacy and influence live on through Carrollton's R.I.S.E. Program.
