We ask that you file your application with consideration for the time required to test and interview your daughter, as well as to receive her records and recommendation forms. Candidates who file applications after January 7, 2022 cannot be guaranteed an interview.
Barat Scholarship - Incoming 9th grade students only
If you are interested in the Barat Scholarship you will need to submit either the ISEE or SSAT scores by January 8th. Carrollton offers a Barat Scholarship to each of the top five scorers on the entrance exam that is administered to all 9th grade applicants as well as to Carrollton’s own current 8th grade class. The award is in the amount of $7,000 and is for each year of Upper School, making the total value of the Barat Scholarship $28,000. The Barat Scholarship is the only strictly merit-based award that Carrollton offers. Its recipients are determined objectively based on the results of the entrance exam, and there is no need to apply expressly to be considered for this scholarship. Barat Scholars are exceptionally bright students who typically evidence corresponding academic achievements.
*Please note that the Priority Deadline of December 31, 2021 is for the submission of your daughter’s Carrollton Admissions application and entrance exam scores in order to be eligible for the 9th Grade Barat Scholarship Competition.
Applications received after January 12, 2022 are considered late applications. Click here for late applicant procedures.
