On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Carrollton, alongside seven other independent schools, came together to host the annual AIMS College Fair, offering an invaluable opportunity for students in the Class of 2027 and their families to engage directly with college admissions representatives from across the country and the world.

The event welcomed admissions counselors from 199 colleges and universities, creating a dynamic and informative environment where students could explore a wide range of academic programs, campus cultures, and application processes. Throughout the day, our students had the chance to ask questions, gather materials, and begin building meaningful connections with institutions that align with their interests and goals.

The AIMS College Fair, a collaborative effort among the sponsoring independent schools, is designed to support students in their college search journey. By bringing such a large and diverse group of institutions into one space, the fair helps demystify the admissions process and empowers students to make informed decisions about their futures.

“This event is about access and exploration,” said one organizer. “We want students to feel confident navigating the college search, and that starts with conversations, real, face-to-face interactions with the people who review their applications.”

Parents also played an active role, engaging with admissions counselors to better understand financial aid opportunities, admissions criteria, and campus resources that support student success.
