Last weekend, the Carrollton Dance Team made history at the prestigious Contest of Champions in Orlando, competing in only their second-ever competition.
Demonstrating talent, dedication, and passion, the team achieved remarkable success across multiple categories.
The Small Varsity Lyrical routine, We Belong, choreographed by Ms. Christina Sasloglou, earned an impressive third place in their category. Both their jazz and lyrical performances received a choreography award, highlighting the creativity and skill behind their routines.
A standout individual achievement came from Lili Veziroglu ’26, who was selected as a senior solo finalist, re-competing at awards and securing an outstanding seventh-place finish out of 100 soloists.
Additionally, the team’s hard work was recognized with superior ratings in all nine of their performances, a testament to their commitment and perseverance.
We are incredibly proud of the Carrollton Dance Team for this historic achievement. Their success is a reflection of the countless hours of practice, discipline, and love for their sport. Congratulations to the team on this well-earned recognition!
