Carrollton's libraries hosted a special visit from the Coconut Grove branch of the Miami-Dade Public Library as part of Library Card Sign-Up Month. The event, held during Upper School lunch periods, attracted students, faculty, and staff, all eager to celebrate the joy of reading and the value of libraries.

The Coconut Grove librarians brought not only their love for books but also the chance for attendees to sign up for public library cards on the spot. Many members of the Carrollton community took advantage of the opportunity to receive a physical library card, which opened the door to the extensive resources available at the Miami-Dade Public Library System. 

The event was a great success, spreading enthusiasm for lifelong learning and encouraging the Carrollton community to engage with the vast resources their local public library offers. The Carrollton Libraries team is grateful for the partnership with the Coconut Grove branch and looks forward to more collaborative events in the future!
