Elizabeth Xydas ’29 and Alexandra “Coco” Kolaya ’27 captured first place overall in the I-420 Class at the U.S. Youth Championships Regatta held this past weekend at Lauderdale Yacht Club.
Their win also earned them the Manton D. Scott Trophy, recognizing them as the top double-handed team in the nation. With this achievement, Xydas and Kolaya have qualified to represent Team USA at the 2025 Youth Sailing World Championships in Vilamoura, Portugal, this December.
Carrollton congratulates Elizabeth and Coco on their outstanding performance and wishes them success as they prepare to compete on the world stage.
