Students in Grades 4-8 had the extraordinary opportunity to travel to New York City to sing at none other than Carnegie Hall.
Dr. Giselle Elgarresta Rios, Professor of Music at Barry University, was their guest conductor, leading our students alongside singers from St. Thomas the Apostle and Encore Academy of the Arts. Accompanied by the New England Symphonic Orchestra, they performed various selections, including a NY premiere written specifically for the occasion by Grammy award-winning conductor and composer Jose Serebrier.
We are so proud of the courage and confidence our students displayed as they stepped out onto the international platform for the world’s finest artists.
