Carrollton Welcomes Duchesne Academy for a Special Soccer Match and Feast Day Celebration

This week, Carrollton was excited to welcome our sisters from Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston, Texas, for a joyful visit rooted in community, tradition, and spirited competition.

The Duchesne Chargers joined our Cyclones on campus to celebrate the Feast of St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, a treasured moment for all Sacred Heart schools, before taking to the field for an exciting soccer match. The energy on campus was electric as the entire Carrollton community came out to support both teams, from our youngest Montessori students to our faculty, staff, and Trustees.

In a hard-fought game filled with heart and determination on both sides, the Carrollton Cyclones earned a 1-0 victory. More than the final score, the afternoon was a beautiful reminder of the bonds that unite all Sacred Heart schools - a shared mission, a shared heritage, and a shared joy in coming together.
