- Upper School
Carrollton’s Upper School students took center stage this weekend in a dazzling production of The Drowsy Chaperone, bringing music, laughter, and a touch of Broadway magic to the school community.
The talented cast delivered a spectacular performance filled with humor, charm, and unforgettable musical numbers.
The show, a parody of 1920s musical comedies, follows the story of a theater-loving narrator who guides the audience through the tale of a glamorous wedding, a misguided best man, bumbling gangsters, and, of course, a delightfully drowsy chaperone. With lively choreography, stunning costumes, and a set that transported viewers straight into the narrator's home, The Drowsy Chaperone showcased the incredible dedication and hard work of Carrollton’s student performers and crew, as well as our incredible faculty, Mrs. Carolina Ordoñez, Mr. Bradley Poore, and Ms. Christina Sasloglou.
Opening night was met with resounding applause, setting the stage for equally thrilling second and third performances.
A heartfelt congratulations to the entire cast, crew, and faculty members who made The Drowsy Chaperone a resounding success.
