- Upper School
Yesterday marked a significant milestone at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart, as students, faculty, families, and friends gathered to celebrate the Upper School graduation of the Class of 2024. The ceremony, held at Church of the Little Flower, was a blend of joy, nostalgia, and hope for the future.
The graduation ceremony began with a heartfelt invocation by Kaysi Crook '24. The atmosphere was filled with pride as the graduates, dressed in their white gowns with red roses, listened in from the church pews.
Fr. Robert Vallee gave an inspiring homily, highlighting the graduates' resilience and achievements but emphasizing the core values of Sacred Heart education—faith, intellect, service, community, and personal growth—that have shaped the students over the years. He reminded them that if they carry these values close to their hearts, they will continue to inspire love and positively impact the world.
Student Body President, Natalia Garcia-Hanna '24 delivered an emotional and motivating reflection. She reflected on the challenges and triumphs of their academic journey, the bonds they have made, and the Sacred Heart sisterhood they will forever share. Natalia thanked her teachers, classmates, and their families for their unwavering support and encouraged her peers to continue striving for excellence.
The Class of 2024 at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart leaves a legacy of academic excellence, community service, and sisterhood. As they step into the next chapter of their lives, they do so with the confidence and preparation their education has provided them. The Carrollton community will be praying for them and their future endeavors. May St. Madeleine Sophie's words, “Be humble, be simple, and bring joy to others,” stay close to their hearts. We can’t wait to welcome them back home as alumnae!
