The varsity basketball team recently traveled to Bethesda, Maryland, to compete in the Sacred Heart Network Basketball Tournament, hosted by Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.
The weekend was filled with exciting competition and a beautiful sense of community as Sacred Heart schools came together to celebrate their shared community and passion for the sport of basketball.
The Cyclones opened the tournament with a strong performance against the Stone Ridge Gators, securing a 52-37 victory. Their momentum carried into the next game, where they faced the Stuart Country Day Tartans. The Cyclones dominated the court once again, achieving an impressive 69-35 win.
In their final matchup, the Cyclones took on Holy Child. Their unwavering focus and determination helped them achieve another victory, finishing the game 63-43. With three consecutive wins, the Cyclones emerged undefeated champions of the tournament.
Beyond the competition, the tournament was a heartfelt reminder of the unique bond shared among Sacred Heart schools. Athletes, coaches, and fans celebrated not just victories on the court but also the joy of being part of the Sacred Heart family.
