Heidi Tringali Visits Carrollton for Parent Education Series and Student Support Collaboration

As part of Carrollton’s Parent Education Series, our Student Support Services team welcomed pediatric occupational therapist Heidi Tringali on Tuesday, September 30.

With over 30 years of experience, Heidi delivered an engaging and informative session for parents of students in Montessori through Grade 2, though all parents were welcome to attend.

  • During her presentation, Heidi guided parents through practical ways to:
  • Set developmentally appropriate goals for young children.
  • Gain tools to support classroom success and build a strong foundation for future achievement.
  • Understand the difference between school readiness and learning readiness.
  • Practice three key skills that can enhance a child’s classroom performance.

Following her parent talk, Heidi spent time on campus meeting with our Student Support Services team, Administration, and teachers. She also conducted classroom observations and spent several days at Carrollton shadowing and supporting our Student Support Services team in their mission to guide every child toward growth and success.

We were grateful to Heidi for sharing her expertise with our community and for providing parents, teachers, and administrators with valuable tools to better support our students’ development.
