We are thrilled to announce that Isabella Duarte-Crespo ’25 has been named a recipient of the prestigious Silver Knight Award in the Business category.
Sponsored by the Miami Herald and el Nuevo Herald, the Silver Knight Awards recognize outstanding high school seniors in Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Broward counties who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, and a deep commitment to community service.
At this year’s 67th annual ceremony, Isabella was honored for her remarkable vision, resilience, and drive. Diagnosed with Spina Bifida, Isabella turned a personal challenge into an opportunity to serve others. She founded Hidden Innovations in Disguise, a successful business that designs adaptive undergarments and clothing with discreet pockets to help young people with incontinence.
Because of her company's success, Isabella has been able to give back significantly to the community. Her work has not only provided a practical solution to a real need but also sparked important conversations around inclusivity and accessibility. Most recently, she spoke on these issues at a fashionpPanel in New York, advocating for inclusive design and greater awareness of the needs of young people with disabilities.
We are incredibly proud of Isabella—and of all our Carrollton nominees—who exemplify what it means to be Sacred Heart educated: intellectually courageous, socially aware, and committed to making a difference in the world.
Congratulations, Isabella!
