Mass of the Holy Spirit 2025

Mass of the Holy Spirit 2025

This week, the Carrollton community gathered for a cherished tradition, the annual Mass of the Holy Spirit, celebrated as an all-school Mass. Students, faculty, and staff filled the Mater Admirabilis Chapel, joining in prayer to mark the start of a new school year.

The Mass of the Holy Spirit is a Catholic tradition that calls upon the Spirit’s guidance, wisdom, and strength at the beginning of the academic year. At Carrollton, it is a reminder of our shared mission to educate not only the mind but also the heart, rooted in faith and community.

During the liturgy, we prayed for our students, that they may grow in knowledge and love; for our educators, that they may be guided in their teaching; and for our community, that together we may embody St. Madeleine Sophie’s vision of forming lives of faith, purpose, and service.

Moments like these strengthen our sense of unity and inspire us to live out the Goals and Criteria of Sacred Heart education throughout the year.
