Sacred Heart Spirituality Center Speaker Series with Dr. Roberto S Goizueta

A Professor Emeritus at Boston College and internationally recognized theologian, Dr. Goizueta is renowned for his work in U.S. Latino/a theology, theology and culture, social responsibility, and theological aesthetics. A former President of both the Catholic Theological Society of America and the Academy of Catholic Hispanic Theologians, he has authored over 100 articles and books, including his acclaimed work Caminemos con Jesús: Toward a Hispanic/Latino Theology of Accompaniment.

During his presentation, Dr. Goizueta reminded us of a powerful truth: Jesus was a poor man. To encounter Christ today, we are called to see Him in the poor, to break boundaries, and to truly engage with those most in need, because this is where the Gospel becomes real.
