Carrollton’s Visiting Author Series for the 2025-2026 school year began with an unforgettable visit from New York Times bestselling author Aaron Reynolds.
On Wednesday, September 10, students in Montessori 5 and Grades 1-3 gathered to meet the creator of the beloved Jasper Rabbit’s Creepy Tales series.
Mr. Reynolds shared writing secrets, behind-the-scenes stories, and insights into his newest release, Troubling Tonsils!, the first chapter book in the Creepy Tales series. Our students were captivated as he brought Jasper Rabbit’s adventures to life in a way only the author could.
The experience didn’t end with the presentation! Students who ordered a copy of the book will receive a personally signed copy of one of his books. The joy and excitement on their faces reflected the power of storytelling to spark imagination and a lifelong love of reading.
