The Carrollton Debate Program

Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart is the only nationally competitive all-female policy debate program in the nation. Alums of the program have gone on to debate for Harvard, Wake Forest University, Northwestern University, University of Michigan and others. More importantly, young women emerge from the debate program with a strong sense of social responsibility and the courage to act on that responsibility.
Notable alumna of the program includes Former Asst Secretary of the Department of Treasury Victoria Suarez- Palomo, Nevada State Representative Yvana Cancela and the 2007 Tournament of Champion's Top Speaker, Anna Dimitrijevic.
Led by Director of Debate David Heidt and Assistant Director Will Katz, Carrollton Debate is built on the promise of encouraging young women of courage to use their voices.
