Student Exchange Program

Carrollton School of The Sacred Heart offers domestic and international individual exchange programs to its students. The Sacred Heart Network Exchange Program has existed for over 40 years and has engaged more than 2,500 students from 25 Sacred Heart Schools in the United States and Canada, along with a multitude of international students.

The purpose of the exchange program is to allow students the unique opportunity to experience a Sacred Heart education from a different perspective, to broaden their global awareness, to make new friends, and to build community within the Network. Also, Carrollton School of The Sacred Heart offers its students an opportunity to travel around the world by organizing immersion educational trips in the US, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Important Things to Know:

  • Carrollton students in Grade 8-11 may apply to attend another school in the Sacred Heart Network for a period of one to four weeks.
  • In order to qualify for the program, students must be in good academic standing and obtain the recommendations of their teachers and Head of School. The exchange coordinators at Carrollton and the intended school process the paperwork. After students are accepted, compatible schedules are established.
  • Exchange students live with a Sacred Heart family for the duration of their program visit.
