Montessori School Summer Connection 2022-2023

This informational page is intended for families entering Carrollton's Montessori School (M3, M4, & M5) in the Fall of 2022.  We hope this will help in your preparation for the next academic year.

Important Information

School Hours: The Montessori School begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. and dismissal is at 2:30 p.m.  Students may be dropped off as early as 7:30 a.m. for Morning Care at no charge. Uniforms:  Uniforms may be purchased at AA & Dennis Uniform, click here to view the Montessori School Requirements. You may also use this guide to assist in purchasing your uniforms from AA & Dennis Uniform. Used uniforms are available through our Recycled Uniform Program. The program is open to everyone at no charge in Cooke Hall, room 301 on the Barat Campus. Uniforms can be picked up starting June 27th until July 29th from 9 AM - 3 PM, Monday through Friday. The program is only available during the designated dates and times.

Spirit Store: You may purchase your PE shirts, PE shorts, and uniform approved hoodies, sweatpants and jackets plus lots of fun swag from the Carrollton Spirit Store.  Our store hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm while school is in session.  We are located inside the Wellness Center on the Duchesne Campus (3645 Main Hwy). You may also order through our website at  We offer free delivery to students and faculty on both campuses; shipping via UPS is also available. The Spirit Store is managed and staffed by Carrollton alumnae volunteers and all proceeds benefit Carrollton’s financial aid program. School Supplies: Supplies and books are included in the tuition and provided by the School. The only items needed are a child-sized backpack (no wheels), a reusable water bottle, and a lunch box.

Technology Handbook for all Grades 

Lunch Program and Snack: Carrollton has a lunch program available once the school year has begun. The first term lunch program order forms will be made available via email in August. Parents have the choice to buy lunch or provide lunch from home. A daily snack is provided in the Montessori School during the day.

We are happy to share our calendar for the 2022-2023 Academic School Year.  While It brings us great joy to plan, imagine, prepare and hope with optimism, we understand the possible need to adjust and/or adapt these events/dates if the need arises. No matter what the future holds we will continue to move forward with confidence, courage, and compassion as we pray for our Sacred Heart community, nation, and the world.

Carrollton Summer Programs 2022
Camp Carrollton
Rising Montessori 3 through 6th Grade Students 

Summer at Camp Carrollton is a fun-filled, engaging summer program for girls and boys located on the beautiful Duchesne Campus. Our primary goal is to provide every child with a high-quality, safe and fun learning environment. A variety of camp and class offerings provide campers ages 3 to Grade 6th an opportunity to participate in activities such as daily swim lessons, sports, robotics, coding, science, dance, and art. These are just a few examples of what campers can experience as they try new things, make new friends, and create positive memories each day at camp! Carrollton Summer Programs is staffed with experienced certified faculty. 
Three two-week sessions
Session 1: June 20 – July 1
Session 2: July 5 – July 15
Session 3: July 18– July 29
Summer Camp Program Highlights: 
  • For M3 and M4 (girls only) and K through 6th grade (girls and boys). 
  • Groups will be formed by grade level where campers will participate in a scheduled rotational set of activities with their own group. 
  • Counselor to camper ratio will be 2 adults to 18 children. 
  • Hand sanitizer and handwashing stations throughout campus. 
  • Frequent handwashing throughout the day. 
  • Curbside drop-off and pick-up is utilized for all campers.
  • Use of outdoor space. 
  • Expanded session lengths to reduce the number of group transitions.
  • Camp schedules also include half or full-day offerings. Aftercare is offered weekly to create an extended day. 
  • The camp fee includes a camp t-shirt, a camp bag, and all regular activities. Campers will need to bring their own water bottle. Water bottle refill stations will be available throughout our facilities.

      Summer is a wonderful time for students to play, pray, rest, read and spend time with families; to provide some "down" time. We want to encourage the love of reading for our Montessori students and have included a guide to assist in choosing quality picture books that appeal to their various interests. Please enjoy reading these classic and new books with your daughters.

Mentor Program

The Mentor Program is a program to help new families (Mentees) in adjusting to life at Carrollton.  The program is set up to help pass along the special heritage of Sacred Heart, the importance of the Goals and Criteria, and what it means to be part of our family.  We have two wonderful parents who will be our Mentor Liaisons, Maria McMillan for Grades 7-12, and Michelle Berio Calderin for Grades M3-6.  Their job is to ensure that the families connect and share with the Mentors on the happenings at the school.  Mentors will be assigned in May with intentions that they reach out to the Mentees before summer.
